The client was eager to renovate the tired, fussy and outdated bathroom with a design that was elegant and didn’t feel so cramped. They were eager to eliminate the tub but felt it was important to keep a shower on the first floor to address future aging in place needs and as an option for occasional guests. We built a walk-in shower that had a privacy wall, but still opened up into the bathroom. We are most proud of being able to replicate the client’s vision of a paneled look that yields a stunning showpiece of craftsmanship most commonly associated with the formal dining room of a large estate.
